Finding new Friends

Does anyone else struggle to make new friends? I've tried apps, going to community events etc but I try to make friends with other lgbt people and quite often because I am not their "type" friendship never happens. It is a little frustrating, I want to be your friend not fuck you.

Anyone got any tips?

@Thebigmattb-0 I'd focus on interests over anything else. Unless you're interested in political activism, LGBTQ events are probably nott the best place to meet friends, but a good place to go with friends.

Focus on your interests, activities around your interests, and friends (queer or not) will follow.

@Thebigmattb-0 you can't force people to be friends with you, if it's not working out the must have their reasons

@Thebigmattb-0 I long ago stopped trying to make new friends because at least for me, it doesn't seem to matter where I go, people f*cking suck!
