UPenn makes deal to obey USA law, save Female sports from XY males.

The school and the administration reached an agreement on Tuesday which forced the institution to strip transgender swimmer Lia Thomas of previous records and titles while competing in women’s sports...
UPenn...must send a personalized letter of apology to each impacted female swimmer...issue a public statement to the University community stating that it will comply with Title IX, specifying that UPenn “will not allow males to compete in female athletic programs or occupy Penn Athletics female intimate facilities,”.....
The statement also must specify that UPenn will adopt biology-based definitions for the words “male” and “female” which is “pursuant to Title IX...rescind any of its guidance that violated Title IX, remove or revise any internal and public-facing statements or documents that are inconsistent with Title IX, and notify all staff and women’s athletics of all such recissions,”

I'm curious as to why there is never, ever any gender equality in these bans.
-
@raphjd Do you mean, females should be banned from male sport? for safety & also symmetry?
Prob yes.
But people treat it as low-priority since, on average, females suck at sport. (Average means, top females are better than worst males.)
Sports end up with category of

non-enhanced Female
-
Open
Where Male comes in, Female is driven out - like, why bother to compete?
As Gay dude, I'm fine with "Open" meaning Male in practice, that is, Female driven out of Male - by practical realities.
Just not fine with Male invading & breaking Female category - when females want one.
I do wish for explicit Male category tho, for better "guy time" & male nudity.
Where Male is banned from Female space, Female should be banned from Male space.
& where ban enables nudity, go by someone's biology - not identity. Sorry Trans. There are limits. This should be one of them. Genderqueering kids (talking kids into dysphoria), should be another. Big "No" on both. & I know many of you agree - Thank you.
