That's right. He already won, or was set to win, Romania election. Pro-EU "Establishment" of Romania didn't like that & simply threw out election.

Then today (most recent news), they arrested him so he couldn't re-register to appear on ballot.

Romania behaves worse than Vladimir Putin.

At behest of British & EU libs: Romania imprisoned Tates on charges so fake, even corrupt Romania felt ashamed & reversed course after several weeks.

1. trans-ship point for weapons from Pakistan(?) to Ukraine

2. slated for big NATO buildup

& Georgescu, plus ordinary Romanians, don't want that / rightly prefer Peace.

Still more commentary says, Georgescu is released - but under tight gag orders.

Charges against him - if this is accurate - have -very- Soviet, Nazi Germany, North Korea sound.
