I don't know why, but uTorrent is not downloading torrents to my computer. All seeding torrents and all new torrents I add, are marked as Operation succesfully completed, but new torrents stay at 0%, they don't connect to seeders or leechers, and all the torrents I am seeding are marked in red even though messages show them as available, completed and sharing
      Anyone else having this issue?

@leo2003 you could try downloading something with a different client just to see if it reports the same message. I suspect it will give the same mysterious status, I think there's something wrong with your passkey.

Pinging @MrMazda and @jackny to see what they think

@ianfontinell-0 Yes. I've tried downloading music files from another client and the same thing happened.
I hope someone can figure it out, cause the only other thing I can think of is updating Utorrent which I would prefer not to

@leo2003 I guess it's not related to the site or the tracker at all in this case, very intriguing situation...

Icon Tabs below @right should be green ...
There seems to be a problem w/ your network connection ... That gray globe icon means you are not connected ...

if your connection is fine it should be green check icon ...

                      enable DHT [should remain check]
DHT stands for Distributed Hash Table, a decentralized system that allows users to connect with each other directly to share files without a central server.
In BitTorrent, DHT is used to find peers that are sharing a torrent, rather than storing the actual file content.

@john32123666 When I hover over it, it actually says Language, which is the same use of that icon as whatsapp...

Weird thing is that the computer is connected perfectly... 💁

well, your ultimate option is to uninstall your client or switch ...
Your connection setting is not properly configured or altered ...
Lastly a network icon @below right bottom well appear if your connection is properly configured ...
Try to reach helpdesk for now someone else have a good experience and solution ...

@john32123666 So, I uninstalled it and then re installed, nothing, exact same situation. So I went to qbitorrent and tried downloading and again, same type of message.
I'm gonna get in touch with my internet provider, this seems like a very unussual connection issue

Thanks everyone, I'll let you know the outcome just in case someone else has this problem in the future

@leo2003 before you contact your ISP you should try another device, download Flud on your phone and try to download anything. This seems to be something with your PC, for now.

B4 contacting your ISP - see if these links can give you any idea :

@ianfontinell-0 I'm not seeing anything in @leo2003 's profile that would prevent him from downloading. What I suspect is that something may be getting filtered by his ISP.

To test this theory, I would recommend trying to pull up this link in a web browser.

                                  https://tracker.gaytor.rent/stmdd/

If this link pulls up a stats page, then connecting to the tracker's back end is possible, but the issue may lie somewhere else.

Another approach to test this theory is to use a VPN to route around any filtering or blockade that his ISP or country may be putting into place. In some cases, connecting to the back end will work, however other actions on the connection are blocked, as they are seen as P2P traffic on the network.

I will also do an account reset to see if something on our end may be causing this issue.

@leo2003 I have exactly the same problem ! But since 3 days. After update the tracker of new, and finished torrents it say "all done" (its written in german although the language is set to english) and of course its not downloading anything. I did the same what you did. It ended up that i used another client (vuze) and this one is working without any problems !! Did you try another client ? There was no update for utorrent, nothing in the setting was changed, but its not downloading anymore. I asked the helpdesk yesterday, but he was also not sure what the problems was. My suggestion, try Vuze / Azreus just to check if this is working

I tried Bittorrent also, but it didnt work, I think utorrent and bittorrent are acutally the same, or have the same engine. And this message that you have at the lower area "La operacion se completo correctamente" i have also, but it german. But i have never seen this message before. This has to do with the problem i think.

@schoenebergi This is interesting, as I still use uTorrent 2.2.1 and have never had such an issue. I think the issue may be ISP or back end carrier related.

@schoenebergi try Qbittorrent which is almost a clone of utorrent/bittorrent but is a different company.
