Software to synch external hard drives?
-
Given the fragility of external hard drives, and the volume of material that I want to store, I'd like to have two external hard drives that are exact mirrors of each other: I'd add (or delete) material from the "master" external drive, and every now and then (daily? weekly?) some software would see the change made to the master drive and implement it on the secondary drive.
I've done some web searching on this (I'm running 64 bit Windows 10), and it seems that the utilities out there have limited capability. I found one that sounded good, but the grammar on the web page was so bad that I didn't think I could decode it.
Of course, I'd like the stuff to be malware-free, and I don't mind paying for something if it works. I consider myself a "power user" but not an IT guru by any means.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

@eobox91103 Syncback is definitely the best free option in my opinion.
Or get the MAIWO Dual Bay RAID Enclosure with two identical drives and have it set to RAID1 it mirrors automatically for you and alerts you if one drive fails. Thats the easiest but can limit space unless you get larger drives
