Very low upload speeds only on GT
-
Hello,
I have very low upload speeds and it affects only gaytorrent.
For example, I've created a torrent, so I'd expect to be one of little people who can seed, and this is what I see after 2 hours:
Which is terrible.I think it might be the tracker server settings. Anyone has ideas? I've checked https://community.gaytorrent.ru/topic/61334/tutorial-optimise-your-settings-for-seeding/1 already.

Can't edit, so adding new post:
Only 2 moments on actual correct upload speeds, then a nightmare.
I don't have this uploading issues on any other tracker. -
@andudeother I've noticed similar disparities with other sites too. I regularly see up speeds of around 3Mbps to the .net site, but rarely get above 500kbps here. Tried investigating my settings but not managed to fix it yet. That being said, the swarms here are often much smaller, which would go a long way to explaining why traffic isn't so high.

This has to do with the torrents you are seeding. Most of them do not have any leechers, which will cause this exact problem.
-
@MrMazda I've downloaded torrents which have tons of leechers and as you can see not much of difference.
Also, I mentioned that I've made a new torrent, which means I was the sole (and then, one of few) seeder, and the uploading speeds were bad.
-
@andudeother Do you have the port that your torrent client uses forwarded through your home router to your PC both in TCP and UDP?
-
This collumn is leechers. Those are the biggest leechers torrents currently on site.
The download speeds are also low, which may be explained by the upload speeds.
On other torrent trackers, on active torrents such as this ones, I'm maxing out my download speeds easily (600mbit/s). On GT that'll be 10mbit/s tops.
If we could upload with all our uploading powers, those speeds would increase. -
Another interesting notice.
When I've been downloading tracker wasn't connecting me with other leeches, even though I could seed the data I had. Only after finishing 100% of all torrents, upload speeds reached normal levels. -
Yes, something is wrong, possibly with my qbittorrent.
As you can see, the moment I started downloading new torrent - uploading speed dropped to zero. Any ideas what's causing this?
-
@andudeother are the other trackers you are comparing it to torrent sites with hard pore corn?
if not, then you might be blocked. Try a VPN. I used NordVPN. There are others, some cheaper, but I cannot recommend them because I have not used them
-
@lololulu19 Usually from a QoS (traffic shaping) perspective, the trackers are indistinguishable. It's all P2P traffic. There's no way of distinguishing from the different sources.
It sounds more to me like he may have set alternate rates when downloading. This is an option in most torrent clients.

You may need to un-install and re-install your client ...
it seems, settings configurations and modications are change from defaul values ...
