“Israel is not a racist state,” [other USA Dem] leaders said. “As House Democratic leaders, we strongly support Israel’s right to exist as a homeland for the Jewish people.”

Jayapal walked back her remarks on Sunday evening, stating, “I do not believe the idea of Israel as a nation is racist....
Take a nation-state, hair-split difference between "nation" & "state", claim one is racist & other can't be.
