First time I ever had this problem... phantom download
-
This morning, I was downloading a torrent. It was downloading consistently at about 150k/s. It was doing this for about half an hour before I stopped it because NO data was downloading!
My only explanation is that perhaps there were no complete PACKETS.Another odd thing I noticed was that in one of those lame mega sized collections, many of the videos would not play because they were FAKE! They completed, they had data, they checked. Someone uploaded several bundles of corrupt files along with some other files that did work.
Tbis happens extremely rarely, so it is not a big deal.

@lololulu19 Then you need to use the Report link to report the torrent with all the bad files so it will get deleted.
"Extremely rarely" is no reason to skip over it...when you find a torrent with corrupted or bad files, use Report on the torrent's page to report it. -
@cinemacapman Yes.. I sometimes report problems.
This one with the download showing an active download that resulted in no data was very surprising to me. I was wondering if anybody else noticed this ever happening.
There is a similar problem that I found a fix for. Sometimes a download will just stop, or get extremely slow. Look at the TRACKER list. If the tracker field has gone blank, REMOVE the torrent (not the data, just the torrent), and then RELOAD the torrent. Usually that will resume the torrent where it left off and the tracker field will be filled in again.
