Incest laws

There are laws against incest for a reason. When the parents of close relatives, there is a very high risk of birth defects, and other genetic problems. Basically the problem is this: there are 32 SETS of chromosomes. A child gets 32 chromosomes from the mother and a set of 32 matching chromosomes from the father. Often there is a defect in a chromosome, however, the defective chromosome is ignored and the good chromosome is the functional one. BUT if BOTH chromosomes of a set are defective, then the child is stuck with a serious defect, and probably will be stillborn / a miscarriage. This is why many Royal families are plagued with birth defects such as hemophilia in the Russian Royal Family, and stupidity in the British Royal Family.
So, the risk of genetic problems in children from parents that are not close relatives is minimal whereas the risk of genetic problems in children from parents who are brother/sister, father/daughter, mother/son, and even cousins is extremely high. That is why there are laws against incest.
Since homosexual sex cannot produce children, there is no premise for imposing incest laws upon them. So, there is no basis for prohibiting sex between identical twins OTHER than gay sex was and still is prohibited in many cultures and societies.
Over 35% of identical twins ADMIT to having a sexual relationship with their twin at some point, and I think that number is much higher.
It annoys me when people get all bent out of shape over identical twins engaging in sex, or real brothers, real sisters. It's not incest. They are actually being condemned and persecuted for engaging in homosexual acts. Incest has nothing to do with it. -
