Banshees of Inisherin

Anyone seen this movie? It's not gay but the plot is about these 2 friends in Ireland during their civil war where one of the guys doesn't want to be friends anymore and it leaves the other guy devastated.
As someone who has been ghosted by friends (and ghosted my fair share) I really enjoyed the movie.

I liked both actors. When In Burges came out, I just had a tv without cable or any streaming services and I would get the DVDs for free from my local library and just watch them. I had grabbed it and a few other movies and never got around to watching more than just probably 30 minutes of the movie when I fell asleep, and then it was due back. I keep meaning to grab it again but my local library just had so many movies (and full seasons of stuff) that I never got around to it. I can't see paying to go see it in theaters and right now, I do have some streaming services i am paying for (not much, but still), that I don't have time to pirate it but I probably will. Belfast was a movie I really liked last winter, and this looks similarly in execution.

The concept of the movie was definitely interesting albeit a little unusual. I think the actors really carry the movie. There isn't a big climax but there are surprising moments. I would recommend it to someone who isn't afraid of something different but maybe not to someone who just wants to be entertained.
