Scat new vids/films?
-
Hi all, since I coudn't find a relative forum, I decided to post my message here.
The scat category of torrents is really poor, don't you think? Why is that?
Aren't there scat films (not vids) made by porn industry? Why aren't there new uploads of new vids?I am asking for your opinion and point of view or even information on the above questions.
Thank you guys

@mentrix It's a less common interest presumably, it's probably fair to say there's a stigma about it, and I believe it's even a hidden category on the site by default. There are probably not nearly as many performers willing to participate as they will in other porn. It might also be hard to market, and mainstream studios might not want to be associated with it. Whether it's a substantial risk or not, in the USA it's also a particular type of porn that has apparently resulted in prosecution and jail time. https://www.vice.com/en/article/why-is-the-guy-who-made-2-girls-one-cup-going-to-jail/
I'm don't know what the legal status is in other countries.

I think there's a substantial demand, if there is no market then we can just assume that it's not profitable for whatever reason. Mr fuckmyface has brought a good point, any American studio would be at risk of prosecution due to subjectivity of the obscenity law.
Also, to us "gay porn" is a huge market, but in the eyes of big studios it is simply a niche, anything that increases production value will be avoided unless the return is guaranteed.
If you go to a more fetish-centered platform like Thisvid, you'll see that there are plenty of scat content being made by independent producers, sometimes not even for profit. The fact that communities like thisvid can thrive around scat and other tabboo kinks is proof that there's demand and it can be profitable.
Other gay private trackers don't even allow scat at all, and here it is a hidden category. In an environment where you need to share more than you obtain, focusing on a category that 90% of the members won't even know exist is not viable.
