Identifying the uploader
-
Hi, theoretically, is it possible for law enforcement to identify who the uploader is here?
I want to update some people's nudes which would count as revenge porn in my country (and they have a specific law against it), so I am not sure if it's worth the risk. Just that it's clear they're all adults. -
*I want to upload

There is no such thing as 100% security when doing things online.
Make sure you use a trusted VPN.

Not only do you want to use a trusted VPN so that your real IP address is not visible but you will also want to make sure that you never leave a comment on any of the torrents, as your username will appear in the comments as the uploader.
As for the torrent itself, only staff are able to see the username of the person who uploaded the torrent. Anyone who is not staff would only see uploaded by Anonymous.

TYVM !!! ... a lot of users/members are not aware on this and bombarding torrent w/ pointless non-sense comment ...
[negativity w/c result in ruining torrent presentation] ... -
Just out of curiosity, what's "some people's nudes"? in this context?

Revenge Porn seems kinda sketchy, though?

@MrMazda This is no longer the case. If you comment on a torrent you have uploaded your username will not be shown, the comment is just attributed to "Uploader" with nothing to identify the user.
