Boris and Co lied - about everything

The UK Tories (center left in US politics) made many, many promises over the last 6 years.
They said they would cut the number of illegals coming into the UK.
They said they would deport foreign criminals.
They said we would leave the EU.
They also said they would cut spending and not raise taxes.
Etc, etc, etc, etc
It was all a lie.
Well, they didn't actually lie about raising taxes. See, they aren't raising our taxes, OH NO. What they are going to do is levy charges, surcharges, fees, etc, etc, etc.
Tony Blair did this almost 20 years ago when he was PM. Blair did a mixture of tax raises, along with adding fees, charges, surcharges, and whatnot. The cost just to have a landline (traditional home phone), without even making a phone call, doubled in 4 years.
There is virtually no difference between the traditional political parties. The only difference is how honest they are about the crap they plan to do.
