Red Frame
-
hello guys,
just added a few - bigger/better - pictures to an existing torrent.
the two pictures added by the uploader were very small: somwhere like 150x100 pixel.
it's not the first time i did that, but i alway ask myself what the function/properties of this red frame around the new pictures is.
seems silly but maybe i am not the only one who's interested. so i just thought i might as well ask you guys, you sure knownow, i established that i can delete my uploaded pictures while the red frame is around them,
which comes in handy sometimes.
but can other users see the pictures while the red frame is there?i remember the times when you asked us users to reupload pictures and
then you could sometimes see blank space where a picture should be.the red frame disappears after a few minutes. is this an automatic delay just to
let us correct ouselfs if we messed up or are the additional pictures cleared by an administrator?thank you guys, you are great.

The red frames are for the staff. Uploaded pictures need to be approved by moderators before they stay permanently on the torrent's page.
And no-one can edit them, or remove them, after upload except staff. The only exception is when the uploader of the torrent uploaded the pictures within the time frame wen he can edit his own torrent.

Thank you geographer for your answer. You moderators have to be very quick then,
cause it took the last times only a few minutes for the approval. Damn good work.My second question was if other users can see the new pictures while the red frame
is still in place?Thank you geographer,

Oops, sorry, missed that part.
I could be wrong, but my guess is they are visible to everyone. Any other moderator please correct me if I am indeed wrong

The picture uploader can see the pictures and Mods & Admins can see the pictures. Noone else should be able to view them until they are approved for posting.
