How does this work?
-
I was looking through torrents and poking through seeder/leecher information and I'm rather perplexed by something that I stumbled over.
Take a look at this snip it… There's something that doesn't add up to me in it:
Can someone please explain how in the **** that works? I mean seriously, there's a user listed as a "leecher" but they're listed as having 100.0% of the torrent's contents.

They probably found this torrent content "elsewhere" and are seeding it here, before the uploader has a chance to fully seed it.

nope. in this very case, the likeliest reason is a bug in the latest uTorrent version, or even more likely, you just caught a user who just finished his download, but the tracker's database didn't get refreshed yet - i.e. it happened in the interim. the other ways are spoofed uT versions which allow the permanent setting as a seeder (although they are not) or as a leecher (although they already have it), i have one of those. descriptions say about different tracker scenarios which can be spoofed/utilized this way…

Ah. That may explain it
