The special instability and surreality of the pandemic is accelerating a kind of collective psychosis in a segment of the American right. This unraveling is being actively encouraged by mainstream right-wing leaders, who like caregivers with Munchausen syndrome by proxy are making their charges sick to keep them near.
As a result, a small but rapidly growing contingent of people believe that Trump is fighting a satanist-pedophile-deep state-Jewish-cannibal-Illuminati cabal. Meanwhile, vastly larger numbers of people believe a sanitized version of this story in which the forces of law and order are holding at bay those of BLM-antifa-Democrat-immigrant-transgender-Marxist darkness. Or, rather, they’re attempting to hold it at bay, but they need assistance, which the proud and brave will willingly provide.
In other words, they belong in the loony bin.

Well. As far as the pandemic causing looniness… today the CDC downgraded the number of Covid deaths to 9,210 from over 181,000, saying that 90% of the tests were false positives and most of the people who died had comorbidity and pre-existing conditions, meaning Covid wasn’t the primary cause. So yea that’s what they’ve been saying the whole time, that it’s a SCAMDEMIC.
As far as the pedos goes, lots of people have been arrested under Trump and he has focused on it. That probably leads Christians to think there’s something Satanic going on. So? That’s kind of exactly what it looks like to a Christian (evil - so that's what they call it when kids get fucked and then killed) and it looks like the Vatican is intertwined. So if you think it’s a “crazy” conspiracy, you’re not paying attention to what’s actually going on.
Also the Vatican wants immigration which is why the Pope (who's behind walls) told Trump he was racist for ordering a wall - Latin America is Roman Catholic. It's a sort of "Romanizing" of America. Unfortunately, we find another confliction that will ultimately play out: Most Catholics are against abortion. Everyone in the democratic party is looking to kill each other. They're a literal alligator pit and everyone is going to eat each other until there's just the last unicorn and the red bull gets her this time.
