Hello, and sorry if it's an inconvenience.

I've been trying to make up for what I downloaded, but the instructions still confuse me. I've read them over and over, but I can't manage to get seeding right. Because of that, I tried using QuickTorrentMaker to upload the file for me; however, not even that one manages to work!

I'm using BitTorrent, if that's of any importance. Any advice would be appreciated!

Are you having problems seeding files you downloaded from here or are you having trouble uploading a .torrent file for a video you got somewhere else?

I think it would be from somewhere else? I have a file I want to upload (can at least manage to create a .torrent for it), but it's hard to actually upload it and seed it. When I try and download it again, it stays looking for seeders and peers even if the files are on my PC

So it sounds like the BitTorrent software is unable to locate the video file that matches the .torrent file on your computer drive.

Put the video file in the same folder as the video files you download and then BitTorrent should be able to find the file, check the data, and seed it.

Hmm, I still find this a bit confusing. Lemme see if I understood it right:

-Turn folder into .torrent and upload
-Re-download said .torrent into folder once again
-Use BitTorrent to seed the file

Sorry for any bother this may cause. I've looked at guides and videos for torrenting, but it still confuses me. I just wanna uphold my end of the website agreement

You only download the .torrent file, as the .torrent file you get from the site will have the correct tracker information in it, which will identify your account to the system with your passkey. This is different from downloading the contents of the torrent. Since you're uploading the content, you only use the .torrent file with the content you already have to seed the torrent. By default, if the contents of the torrent are in the default folder for torrent downloads, it will go straight into seeding mode right away for you, without you needing to tell your torrent client where to find the contents of the torrent.
