Would the following be acceptable as a comment to a torrent post??

Just to say that I would have appreciated a simple THANKS from you, in my torrent post at the .org site, when you downloaded THIS movie that I rented from PPV sites as a 4000kbps wmv, unDRMed it, converted it to avi & posted there..
It only takes a few seconds to type THANKS but you have NEVER done so on the numerous .org downloads that you have re-posted here.. ”or would that get me a warning or ban??

While I have always encouraged others to share my torrent posts on other sites [as I only post on the .org site] I find it really annoying that a member of both sites will ask for seed bonus here but not add a "thank you" there..

It's not exactly what we mean by torrent comment.
It would be better to send by PM, but we would not punish you for posting that as a torrent comment as it's not aggressive or flaming.

I have to confess that I tend to add "comments" like the one above in the torrent forums of sites as more members are likely to read them there.. The members who read forum posts tend NOT to be those who need reminders about good manners etc.. It's usually the members who only visit the torrent forums who cause "upsets" & who would benefit from the odd reminder..
I will add a PS to my next couple of torrent posts on the .org site & see if they have any result.. My PM to him in December had no reply or effect.. -
Some people are beyond anything and are incredibly nervy/obnoxious. An older friend of mine, we'll call her Betsy went to a younger friend, Stella's house for a dinner party. Betsy asked Stella for a recipe for a dish she liked. Stella said "Oh, I never share my recipes" Betsy responded with fury "I practically taught you how to cook, shared my father's recipes with you (he's a professional chef) and now you won't share ONE recipe with me?"
The above is a true story! Needless to say, Betsy & Stella are no longer friends…..
