Former pro-wrestler and father of The Rock,  Rocky "Soul Man" Johnson has died at 75.

I can't fine any info on what he died of, but he has been feeling unwell since Nov 2019.

Rocky started wrestling in the early 1960s and retired in 1989.

Rocky was the 1st black wrestler in the TV era who was not a silly black character.  There were some in the carnival era that also were not stupid black stereotypes.   When TV wrestling came around, it seems many things went backward in many ways, not just racial stereotypes.

Watching WHO grow up?  Rocky Johnson was 75 when he passed, which would make you over 90 if you were making sense.  Unsurprising that your downloading is disabled, and just around the corner, a Mute waits patiently.

Looking at this again, I now get that you were likely not saying:

I really enjoyed seeing him growing up.

            … but rather ...

I really enjoyed seeing him {implied:  while I was} growing up.

Apologies on that and for Rocky, RIP.
