Stockton, CA, giving Free Money to Residents (Universal Basic Income Experiment)
-
So Stockton is giving $500 to 139 residents as part of an experiment in Universal Basic Income. Basically, it's popularizing socialism to get democratic voters. In reality, we need to know where the money is coming from this one time, and where will it come from in the future. It's other people's money. Nothing is free. I wonder how this experiment will work out? People will feel happy and vote for socialists running for president, like they did for the Obama phone. These people, unwilling to work (illegals have no reason to work much with all the benefits they get), will undoubtedly be using the money for food while they use their own money for drugs and booze (not all of them of course - and I'll bet they selectively chose those who would make the program look good). What a waste of money. Encouraging people to vote for democrats because they'll get free stuff. This is the problem with democracy and always why it's short lived: soon enough the people realize that they can vote the largess of the treasury into their own pocket. And how are they judging whether it was successful? Oh, the people feel good and stuff. Now they vote democrat so that's a success. What a crock of shite. California is literally the epitome of idiocracy. Giving people free needles for injecting drugs, too, keeping them dumbed down and in a state of perpetual servitude to the masters. This state is becoming a modern example of Venezuela and people like Gavin Newsom, are a total corrupt shame.

All the places that have previously tried it have ended the program because there was no benefit except to those who refuse to work.
NOTE: Before anyone freaks out, I am not talking about those that HONESTLY can't work and need help.
