Users from China can not download anything from this website since last week
-
Hello everybody!
I am a user of this website from China.About a week ago,I found that all tasks on the downloader uTorrent were stopped and would never get started. The downloader shows me that the DHT server is banned and I can not exchange any data with other users of this website.I am sure that the download rate of my ID is normal and it is not banned by this website. But unfortunately,I can not download anything.By the way,I am in mainland of China, not Hong Kong,Marco or Taiwan.Someone told me that the Chinese Government banned the DHT server and Chinese people could not get connected with foreigners.
How should I do to get connected from others?I really love GAYtorrent.ru and really want to join in this wonderful gay website.
Many users from China and I really need your help.If you have solution, please tell me!Your ideas will be appreciated!Sincerely

As I mentioned in my PM to you, DHT is used for dynamic peer exchange, which is not used on a private tracker like ours. There is obviously some other under-laying issue here that needs to be addressed. We first need to find the tracker status message. If you are using uTorrent or BitTorrent, you can find this by clicking on the torrent, then clicking on the "Trackers" tab. The status message will be located beside the announce URL.
As for the connection, it is likely that either your government, or possibly just your ISP has put some routing restrictions in place, which are preventing you from connecting to our tracker. This is another option to be able to get around such internet censorship. I personally use PrivateVPN these days. Just be aware that you need to use a server location that supports port forwarding. Some server locations will only forward a specific port, while other servers will forward ALL ports. If you are using a server that only forwards ONE port, then you need to also make sure that your torrent client is configured to use the port that is being forwarded.

is the tracker down? anything i try to download won't. trackers for all downloads say "not working"

Again, we need to know the tracker status message, as there are any number of things that can cause the status to say "Not Working". At the moment, there are no issues with the tracker, however some users in some parts of the world do have issues either with their government, or their ISP not cooperating with our server hosting provider, particularly with the tracker. In some cases, this is DNS related, and in other cases, the problem is routing based. In most cases, the use of a VPN such as PrivateVPN will help to get around this issue. Just make sure that you are using a server that forwards ALL ports, or that your torrent client is using the port that the VPN is forwarding.
