If you are a little confused, more or less mean more or less government intervention.

Your comment reminded me of something I heard on the radio yesterday.
Fascism is basically when government takes control over society. That includes heavy regulation of everything.. and even takeovers of businesses.
Obama was extremely active in regulating everything imaginable, while Trump has been de-regulating as much as possible. Whose the fascist?
Some of you may even remember when Obama was having the government take control of the auto industry!
Donald Trump exemplifies the philosophy of free trade, deregulation, and capitalism. -
I looked in the political forum and it is so right wing, I love it. I have a new place to call home.
-
I'm a classic liberal, which puts me in the middle between liberal and conservative.

Most of the time, this forum has been flooded with insane liars - who just happened to be liberals. I can't think of any credibly liberal leaders in government anymore. There leaders are supposed to be Schumer and Pelosi, but those two have gone off the reservation of sanity.
I can't think of any RIGHT wing people in this forum other than perhaps Mhorndisk who got zapped.

I expanded the poll - because such "drawer-thinking" has brought a lot problems in our world. Where is the in principle difference between "all Jews are vermin" and "all (put in your political opponent) are liars" I can't that except that the second version is the third, fourth … step on a ladder.
Might be you must be a citizen of Germany (nowadays better of the European Union) to recognise such dangers - but we all should see the danger of sorting our opponents in such nice "political drawers".

Are you referring to stereotyping? The left (MOST of them) say all conservatives are deplorable, racist, sexist, homophobic, misogynist, zealots, on a nonstop daily basis. So the right says that they're liars (there are in fact, black and gay and women and trans and non-Christians, and Mexicans, and legal immigrants who support the right). And then the left defends Hillary after she deleted 33,000 emails, bleach bitted her servers, and then hammered them to pieces - after a subpoena (blatant obstruction of justice). There is also proof that she sold uranium to Russia, and yet the left (MOST of them) claim that Trump colluded with Russia, but have no factual evidence, just accusations. It's amazing how the left can go along with this narrative. I don't really see anyone on the right stereotyping the left - although they do call them names like libtard, but that's not a stereotype, it's saying "piss off, you don't know me." Like if I call someone a bitch, it doesn't mean I hate women, it just means that that particular woman is being vicious and malicious. Just my honest opinion. Can you give me examples of the right stereotyping the left?

When we look at Brexit, the remain side calls the leave side all manner of names, such as racist, nazi, fascist, homophobe, etc, etc, etc.
We have 2 prime examples (Anna Soubry; MP and Owen Jones) who love to call the leave side those names, but then have the police arrest those that call them the same names.
Free Speech is very much a left/right thing. Liberals want to ban/criminalize speech they don't like. In Europe, there is no such thing as free speech.
Count Dankula (taught his girlfriend's Pug to salute to certain Nazi phrases) proved that in Scotland. There were no complaints from the public. His "victim" was Police Scotland. The judge in the case said that context doesn't matter. The only thing that mattered is that it MIGHT cause offense. The judge said that if there was a complaint from the public then CD would have been sent to prison.
A guy was sent to prison for 18 months for tweeting something like "your dad is turning over in his grave" to Tom Daley, after a horrible diving performance at some event.
At the same time, MSM and liberals refuse to talk about the 9 Turkish muslims who did the preplanned acid attack on gays in Hackney, London.
It's why everyone on the planet knows who Dylann Roof is, but virtually no one knows who Emmanuel Samson is. Both did a racist gun attack on a church. I'll let you guess which was the black guy that shot up the white church that no one wants to talk about.
The fake hate crime tracker website shows that liberals love their fake hate crimes. The extreme vast majority of PROVEN fake hate crimes are by liberals.
The European Court of Human Rights ruled that criticizing Mohammed wasn't allowed under the so-called European Human Rights Charter. This came about because a woman was arrested for doing a lecture, part of which was about Mohammed being a pedo because he married Ayisha when she was 6yo and fucked her when she was 9yo.
I could go on forever on things that liberals support.
NOTE: I'm not saying that each and every liberal supports each and everything I mentioned. However, the vast majority do support it which is why it is happening.

At most I'm agains each and every kind of such "drawer thinking". I do know that it makes things easier to understand and most demagogues use this kind of thinking to make their work easier. (if I may repeat my example: "All jews are vermin").
Such kind of thinking makes things black or white. If you watch realty though you'll see there are many shades of grey between those extremes. I just ask everybody not to close their eyes for the "in between".The left (MOST of them) […]
Aaahhh … you see the difference between all and some? If I ask you "Which part (in %) is most" and how reliable are your estimates? You could (rightfully) answer: there are lies, statistics and %-values. I myself believe in "Don't believe in statistics where you didn't falsify the values yourself".
And btw: I don't believe in something more or less members of righties or lefties tell us until I know the reasons for their behaviour.
…

Can you give me examples of the right stereotyping the left?Sorry I can't argue with you about the rest of your quote for several reasons: First one: I' don't know enough about politics in other counties (like USA, United Kingdom …) to have informed opinions, second: I don't know anything about some persons unless they come in German news (where NFL news are usually more important than news about leaders which try to rule their country via tweets) :blind:
And: if people call me now a lefty or a righty: I care more about the dirt under my fingernails. From my youth time I'm used to be called nearly everything that can be -icsmed - So What???

If politics is about self-government.
And in order to be able govern people should be informed.
Then you have to have open debate. And since groups are able to wield power over individuals.
It is important to have open debate about any group.–-
So if as a group some people produce let's say unemployment, crime and government dependence or even wars in The Middle East.
Then you should call it like it is.
If the criticism is heard and there is no change/reasonable response.
Then it is valid to assume that every individual in the group is "x". -
Well mgr, I'll tell you that regardless of statistics, it's very obvious that in the United States, and what I've seen in Europe to a certain degree (no percentage can be truly established and thus polls are always relative - even though some polls admit they sample more democrats and people don't read that fine print) that the left plays identity politics all day long and that's how they manipulate people. All day long the left here is screaming about social justice and talking about how bad women and gays and blacks and hispanics and everybody who's a minority voice is being raped - when they've never had it better. Both sides play the cult of personality and go by what sounds good coming out of their mouths - that's politics. Just look at how many good looking young men win - Obama, Macron vs le Pen, Trudeau, Nieto in Mexico, Guaido in Venezuela. It's a certain charm that seems to win on the liberal side a lot, but not always. Cult of personality isn't always about charm - in Trump's case - it's realness and speaking to people in the language they speak (pissed off - like me - pissed off that I'm having to pay $1,000 a year for Obamacare) rather than talking like a politician who nobody trusts (Drain the swamp - we all know it's beyond corrupt and Congress approval is at like 14%). They like realness and they trust it, but he's also delivered bigly.

Then it is valid to assume that every individual in the group is "x".I don't know that I'd say it's valid to assume every individual in the group is x, but most for sure. Even Trump was careful not to do that regarding illegal Mexicans. But the Truth is, Mexico is the second most dangerous country in the world, and if you have to jump over the fence, or can't go through the port of entry, than chances are it's because you can't get through the port - because you have a criminal record to hide - and the statistics show that this is True.
It is important to have open debate about any group - accept Jews, that is a no no, as the Muslim Congresswomen was forced to apologize by her own party - the Dems. You don't question the Jews - anyone else is up for grabs. If you even question the Jews you get called Anti-Semitic (a special class of racism that's above the word racist because it's different). This is because there is a large number of Christian Zionists in America, which is strange because Jews reject Jesus outright. Some of them like Sarah Silverman outright say things like "If he came back, I'd kill him again!" God rejected the Jews too, before Jesus came, but most Christians have never even read the Bible, and we send billions to Israel every year because of Islam.

Actually, I find that jews are fair game to hate in the west.
The UK's 2nd largest party is full of anti-semites and they are the "liberal" Labour Party. They chose a tranny that hates jews, whites, and men for their Equalities spokesperson. Their previous Equalities Czar (when they were in power) was a massive homophobe.
Muslims are protected by the political elites throughout the west. Muslims do bad and the media pretends it never happened, but let something bad happen to a muslim and the world will know about. 9 Turkish muslims do a pre-planned acid attack on gays in Hackney and virtually none of the media wanted to touch it. This is how the grooming gangs went on for 40 years in the UK with police and the government protecting the criminals, because they didn't want to be called racists

It is interesting that she didn't say anything about "jews".
She said something bad about foreign state of Israel and that some politicians are owned by AIPAC lobbying group.
And then she was forced to apologize for "antisemitism".So if you prefer money being spent on your land and not on another continent.
Or you question "the special relationship" then you are called "antisemitic".And just recently they passed some law that limits free speech for organizations that deal with the government and boycott that state.
So "the right to exist" for some states (that have nuclear weapons) is more important than the right to free speech for your own citizens.UN Human Right Council condemned Israel who knows how many times. I guess it is only because they hate jews.
Anyway I am not an expert in this but it is not looking good.

Not sure why elites love muslims.
Maybe because they can control them somehow.
Or the elites are just demoralized (Bezmenov way) and live in imaginary world.
And that should be easier with power/money they have. -
Semitic means Arab. Because it refers to the languages Phoenician, Hebrew, Aramaic, and Arabic.
Phoenician is a dead language.
Aramaic is spoken by only a few Syrians.
Hebrew is not spoke by modern Jews - they speak Yiddish and several other languages.
Arabic is the only group left that Semitic refers to.
This has to do with a mistranslation. Anti-Semitic means someone who is bigoted against someone who speaks a certain language, and literally nothing to do with Jews. Yet they have leveled this Anti-Semitism against Arabs, who are the majority Semites, to anyone who disagrees with Israel or it's policies. It's absurd. There is a difference between Anti-Semitism and Anti-Zionist. But if you dare speak against Israel then you're an Anti-Semite. It's sick, but it's the world we live in.
