Opinions of the Sims

I'm sure thiks has been asked before but i'm curious to know - what do you guys think of the Sims?
Where i live anyway the Sims had a bit of a reputiation for being a gay game - like me and bf at the time were the only guys we knew who played Sims at all. Is that the case where you are?
For me SIms 2 was the best, followed by 1 - 3 and 4 were awful imo

Yeah. 4 is so basic to what 1 and 2 were. 3 I honestly can't even remember. The expansions for 4 are so expensive and nothing really to be excited about. I just like making the families and building the houses (even though it is really difficult to do in 4). The layout of 1 was so user friendly and easy. Now, they got too complicated…and there really isn't enough in the game play to really keep my interest. My friend keeps buying the expansions, but like I said...too much money for what you get.
I'm sure they'll come out with a 5 soon....

For me, what I like for The Sims games are the character creation and creating the houses. I hardly play much after that, because I lose interest in the characters after a while and create new ones again.

This was like cool to play when I was a kid, like this and habbo was a big thing in my school. But I honestly couldn't get into it. I find sims pretty boring like I'm just more into fast paced games I guess.

Ive only played 3 and 4 and while I really like 3 and played it a TON on xbox I was diappointed with 4 and how incomplete it felt so I generally just create characters and houses but not play

Played all the way up to 4 on a variety of platforms.
PC, but the motherboard may need some building, is much better because of the lack of limitations. Plus modding and additional content that can be downloaded.
Now Sims 3, although it has a huge loading problem, is much better as far as freedom compared to Sims 4, but visually? Sims 4 is much better.

I loved Sims 3, well with the exception of the buggy launcher(tends to corrupt when you install too many custom objects) and the goddamn too long loading screen.
I honestly don't know how I should feel about Sims 4. It's great, loved the CAS and the builder tool. But the removal of Worlds got me very angry about the game. It's like we're back to Sims 1 all over again.

I just bought the sims 4 for ps4 . I honestly enjoy it alot. So much to do and to be creative. Unfortunatly i spend way to much time on it. I bought the complette pakage, with the ghost , animals, and party stuff. the funny part is i spend most of the time on the charcter creator. I fell lik ei try to re create all porn stars lol.
