Trouble with Ye Olde Country…
-
They used to say that the sun never set on the United Kingdom.
The UK held 1/4 of the land on the planet at one time..
Those days ended, but the UK was still thriving for a long time…
Then things started to decline, but were still doing well...
A load of bad governments led to a decline in the UK...
The European Union didn't help Britain any.. and for some reason they still have not exited the EU.
Despite all of that, Britain is still doing well...BUT.. things are not looking well, for one thing, the mayor of the capital city of England is a muslim.. who HATES Trump.
Here's some news.. Trump will be president for 7 more years. Every president has won re-election when the economy is doing well.
Unfortunately, England keeps drifting away from the USA. It's pretty sad when the Queen invites Trump to come visit.. but it is made clear that he is not welcome and it would cause riots. Then Prince Larry Hewitt and his fiancé both dissed Trump several times, including publicly excluding Trump from their wedding. While the royals have zero power or authority, the ARE supposed to be goodwill ambassadors. I hardly think that burning the bridge crossing the pond (the Atlantic Ocean) is being a goodwill ambassador. Just yesterday, Trump cancelled a planned trip to England because of the stupid Prime Minister.
Can England afford to be at odds with the USA for 7 more years? No they can't. They still have to part ways with the European Union, which will be a big setback in the short term. The only question left is will they be able to recover from that setback and get back on track to being successful again? Not without some non-EU allies to cooperate with. I can't think of who their allies might be anymore. The political climate is making the sun set in the UK.I'm sure there are other people in the forum who know more about this than I do. I'd like to see their perspectives.
