Honest appraisal of "Game of Thrones"

I've heard of the HBO show "Game of Thrones" but never saw it because I didn't have HBO.
I now have HBO, and I'm trying to watch it. 
From what I can see, it's a rambling medieval tale that is quite boring.. and is only popular because they spice it up with inappropriate vulgarity that has nothing to do with the story.  The acting seems pretty lame also.

I am interested in beauty, sexuality, pleasure, passion, etc.  such as in gay porn.

There is enough real violence, aggression, and hate in the real world without having to create fictional dramas in the media.
I only like drama when it is very well done and makes one think and learn - such as historically accurate dramatizations of real events.
