This is something Trump should NOT do.

Apparently Trump is going to give local police surplus MILITARY equipment!
BAD IDEA!I have stated a few times that Trump's biggest flaw is that he is so supportive of police. Corruption needs to be punished and removed from all levels of government.. and the most corrupt government institution is the police.

Brave New World… Technology is moving fast and so are the criminals. Not much can be done about it.
-
Police shouldn't be hindered in doing their jobs. It's like the shootout with those bank robbers several years ago. The police were under gunned, while the criminals had high powered weapons.

Yes.. but that is what they have SWAT teams for.
You can't expect a person with no more than a GED or High School Diploma, who is out of shape, to be James Bond.
Giving police powers that they are not competent to use is extremely dangerous. Around where I live, the police abuse their powers to the nth degree. In fact, an idea just came to me. I wonder how many police are actually working with the mafia.. and getting information and doing things "under the colors" to take care of their enemies. I know of a female cop that murdered a woman who was stalking her brother who is also a cop. That's not good! That same female cop once tried to run me over in her car, but I stepped aside quickly. She then crushed my hand by closing a car door on it. But I digress. -
There's good ones and there's bad ones. That's life. With technology like camera phones, we the people are also responsible for holding them accountable.

They now use cell phones as an excuse to kill people.
There is a video from a year or two ago, where this cop stops a 17 year old because the 17 year old flashed his lights at him at night. He flashed his lights because the cop had his brights on, and was blinding people. The cop shot him 7 times, killing him. This one is especially important.. it shows that the pig pulled 3 other people over that same night for flashing their brights to tell the officer he was blinding traffic with his high beams.

You can also support organizations such as http://cspoa.org/
Sheriff David Clark was a member of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association and they provide a lot of good info. You can also make sure when elections happen that you support the ones who fall in line with the Law of the Land, like Sheriff Joe Arpaio. Get a dashcam, get a hidden cam. Upload live whenever you encounter them. If you feel that the reason for pulling you over is bogus or odd, don't pull over and drive to the nearest police station while you call 911. If the people you are pointing out did any of those things, from voting, to equipping themselves with the proper technology to protect themselves, it may have saved their lives. Precautions should be taken - really there is no excuse knowing what we all know. You can't beam your brights at a cop either, it's considered aggressive behavior. Instead the guy should have pulled over and not moved until he could see. I am not excusing what the cop did, but what that guy did was unfortunately a fatal mistake and a lesson we all need to learn from. I doubt you will ever flash your lights at a cop now.

Since the guy was blinded by the cops brights.. I doubt very much that the guy realized that the car was a cop car. It's pretty obvious what was going on. The cop was intentionally sitting parked with his brights blinding people driving in the opposite direction to trap them. If that was NOT the case, he would have turned off his brights after the first occurrence that night. He did it FOUR TIMES.
Also, the cop had no business kicking the guy's cell phone / breaking it. He had no business tasing the guy. And after shooting him.. he had no business shooting him SEVEN TIMES.Around where I live.. the local Sheriff stands behind the cops 100% no matter what they do - which is quite dangerous.
I tell black people all the time… "50 years ago, black people were treated like garbage. they demanded equality. After 50 years, the police finally treat black people the same as white people. Now white people get treated like garbage too!" -
I really do get it. The corruption is thrown in our faces, but there are things we can do about it, and there are the good guys who we can support. It's most important that we support the good ones and elevate them.

The "good" ones are the ones that have contempt for the way that other cops behave.
However, since even the "good" ones are complicit with the actions of the bad ones.. that makes them all bad.. like the bad apple in a bushel of apples. -
I don't believe that. We draw a line here. Arpaio drew the line with Obama, and Clark drew the line with Hillary. There ARE good ones. They are NOT complicit with corruption. There are a lot of bad ones, especially given the incentive to jail people when the sheriff owns the jail and paid by the banks that make money from it. We need to vote them out. It is up to us to do something about it. If you don't like something, do something. You cannot just say that they are mostly corrupt. That does nothing. Support CSPOA for a start. They are not all corrupt.
EDIT: The word "police" comes from "policy." This begs the question of whether or not they are part of the LEGISLATIVE policy MAKING branch, or the EXECUTIVE policy ENFORCING branch. Either way, as Ron Paul personally told me when I asked, "If the Patriot Act violates the Constitution, doesn't that make it invalid? (Referencing Marbury vs Madison obviously)." He said, "If you look at it that way, the entire SYSTEM is invalid and now you're practicing civil disobedience. It IS the Law of the Land (regardless of whether it is Constitutional)." I should have asked about Rosa Parks practicing civil disobedience, but he had to exit. Either way, we are faced with problems, and I am only suggesting some solutions. If it's that serious to you then let's do something.
Trust me, I know how deep the corruption really goes. To the top, from the bottom. Let's start working on a strategy, and destroying liberals is a good start.
