Is there's something wrong with the tracker???
-
Since a couple of hours now, my gt.ru torrents appear in red on my client.
The same with sextorrents.ru, so I was wondering, is only my problem or is there is something wrong with the tracker???
Thanks

I have the same problem. All of my torrents- seeding and leeching - are red and the message says 'Failure- unregistered torrent'.
Is there something I should do in my settings or is this just a matter of waiting? Any info would be appreciated! Thanks!! -
No, just keep them running and be patient.
Our hosting service provider does some maintenance.
Why does that happen always on Sundays?
-
No problem! Thanks for the speedy response!

Ah cheers!….I was wondering what was going on

@Uwe:
Why does that happen always on Sundays?
Because the techies probably get paid double time on the Sunday :laugh:

@Uwe:
Why does that happen always on Sundays?
Sundays are usually the most quiet times for servers - so hosting companies tend to do their maintenance on quiet days (and usually also in quiet hours) - where something like quiet does not really apply to servers like our server with members around the world

Exactly when small site owners have no support available ;D

I have the same problem for almost a week now. And now already 3 torrents are red and "failure: unregistered torrent" error in uTorrent
-
"unregistered torrent" is a message you get back from the tracker. That means the tracker is up and runing and you can connect to it.
This "unregistered torrent" is the failure you get for torrents which have been deleted. Typical reasons for deleting torrents are, dead, duplicate or alleged copyright infringement.
Remark: there is another failure message "unregistered torrent pass", which means the passkey is missing or invalid (e.g. duplicate account warned account or reset passkey)

Do you have some problems with routing? Yesterday around 9-10 PM CET I couldn't reach the site. My friend checked the availability of the page from several places in the world and it always indicated some problems with routing. The site was responsive for downforeveryoneorjustme, but didn't respond to pings from Germany, Poland, US, Australia and some asian country i don't remember. Traceroutes from those places ended without reaching the goal.
-
The server is configured not to respond to pings and trace-route won't work, because of our DDoS protection service.
If that happens to you, clear cookies and the browser's cache as a first trial to work around.

Happened to some of my seeding videos too, so I tried searching for the torrents again here but it's gone. Kinda unfair because our download ratio increases but you can't seed it anymore if the torrent's deleted. ???
