      Largely, data to answer this question may be insufficient because:

      • many homosexuals are not out (alot cannot be where they live due to discimination and criminalisation).
      • many do not declare their relationships in government (or other) surveys.

      Some countries do not consider homosexual relationships to be valid so they simply do not ask..

        I mean, there are less gay people around, so it means less people to choose from, and then there are people in the closet who can't be in relationships, so yeah I wouldn't be surprised if gay people are more likely to be single.
