CNN shifts tactics after last weeks decimating bombshells
-
CNN got caught red handed in several scathing comments from it's producers, reporters, and contributors last week.. all admitting that the Trump / Russia thing is a non-story that they are only pushing for ratings. They also just fired 3 reporters at CNN after being hit with a $100 million lawsuit that they will probably lose. You can bet their stockholders are shaking in their boots.
Anyway.. I was watching a bit of CNN this morning - which I RARELY do. They have shifted tactics. They seem to be abandoning their Russia attacks on Trump other than to say "it COULD have happened". Instead, they have begun to focus on.. the 2020 election! The campaign starts now! They just will not accept that Trump is president, and they are looking past him.
UNBELIEVABLE!
I wonder if CNN will still be around in 2020? Now THERE is a story. -
You mean they're already trying to get Hillary elected?
-
They are also playing the victim card (shocker) and acting like Trump is putting them in danger as "journalists." They're saying it's more dangerous now than ever to be a journalist, they're saying it's a threat to the Constitution (1st Amendment), and they're saying that if anything happens to one of them, that Trump is to blame.
-
There were instances during the campaign where reporters needed police escorts to leave Trump rallies after he riled them up against the press.
Remember the first step in demagoguery is to discredit the press. Then the Supreme Leader asserts that he is the only reliable source of the truth. Once you buy into that, he can do whatever he likes. -
I don't recall any instances where the police had to escort the reporters, and I don't believe it because Trump supporters aren't violent. It's the left that's violent, and if it did happen, I bet it was staged. The press discredits themselves when they make up blatantly false lies, and honestly, they're not press, they're not journalists. Some of them over at Fox are good, some are so so. Most of CNN and MSNBC are liars, and honestly, these companies are owned by a handful of megacorporations. There are hundreds of real journalists and independent media outlets, and Trump has merely gone after FOUR: CNN, NBC, WaPO, and NYT. Hardly anyone actually trusts them.
-
Remember the first step in demagoguery is to discredit the press.
Umm, CNN discredited themselves.

No a Project Veritas Hoax tried to.

You don't recall the incident, so I will refresh your memory. It happened to Katy Tur of MSNBC. Trump singled her out in a Florida rally and the crowd turned against her and the secret service felt it necessary to escort her to her car. It was carried by several news outlets. I know you won't believe this because it's from the Washington Post:
" A predictable comet’s tail of ugliness followed each slight. Prompted by Trump, supporters would occasionally boo her at rallies. They showered her with abuse on social media (and still do), including not infrequent death threats. The climate became so overheated at one of his events that Trump’s aides inquired about her well-being. After another, Secret Service agents approached her and escorted her to her car. NBC eventually assigned a private security detail to her."
But you have already taken to believe only what Trump tells you to believe.

Sorry, but they discredited themselves long before that.
"Ahhhhhhhh, poor poor white people"
"It ain't no hate crime"
"we did everything we possibly could to ensure Hillary would win"

Ive already debunked your last quote which was from June of 2014. What are the specifics of the first two? The quotes are too general to google.

Once you buy into that, he can do whatever he likes.Nonsense.. but you reminded me of something.. the DNC was PAYING people to go to Trump rallies and stir up trouble. Some were paid by the hour, some were paid a lump sum. One notorious one was paid $2500.
Anybody ever heard of "inciting a riot"? -

You did? I'm sure it's from Chris Cuomo from the Nov election when Hillary lost.
"Ahh, poor poor white people" refers to the 9 blacks you beat and stole that white guy's car.
"It ain't no hate crime" was said about the Chicago kidnapping, after the kidnappers admitted it was a hate crime.
-
Cuomo then observed, “We couldn’t help her any more than we have. She’s got just a free ride so far from the media! We’re the biggest ones promoting her campaign, so it better happen.”
Ok, that was 2014.
HOWEVER, mainstream media as well as social media did absolutely everything they could to ensure Hillary would win right up until the polls closed in Nov 2016.

I will agree that the major networks, NYT, WaPo clearly supported Hillary. It didn't help that Trump attacked them at every turn. There were outlets with large audiences–including FoxNews and Breitbart that supported Trump. I think social media was more balanced. There was a lot of fake news pillorying Hillary and certainly a lot of posts against Trump.
And you didn't give me the references for the 'poor white people' and 'it wasn't a hate crime' quotes.

If I didn't know better.. I would think you did not live in the USA.
I would hardly call Breitbart a major news outlet. As for the rest, they were ALL extremely against Trump except for Fox which was balanced. Since the election, Fox is about 65% biased in Trump's favor. People like Sauer Krauthampster are hardly biased in favor of Trump. Nor is Ms. Shepard Smith or Geraldo Riviera.
All the rest of the major news outlets hover between 80 and 97% biased towards the libtards. As for social media.. don't tell me it is balanced. I lost half a dozen YouTube and Facebook accounts for posting the true facts. One day, I hope to have some revenge upon Facebook in particular. I can't believe that bozo Fuckaburger has aspirations of becoming President. Not a chance. He has far too many enemies (which was also Hillary's problem). All the cheating, fraud, corruption, and money in the world could not offset the number of people that failed to show up at the voting booths for Hillary, or voted for Trump or Stein just because they hate Hillary so much.
…and before you start on the massive number of votes (many fraudulent) in inner cities... I would remind you that the demobat mooncraps dump massive amounts of government (taxpayer) subsidies into inner cities.. like Los Angeles, NYC, Chicago, and Washington DC.. and we have seen how well that works.. crime capitals of the world...

As for Chris Cuomo, go ahead and google it yourself. I couldn't find anything from November of 2016. The 2014 quote was used out of context in a Trump fundraising email, which made it so notorious. There are actually archived transcripts of all CNN shows on their website, so google should find them. I'm going to fact check the other two.

"Ahh, poor poor white people" refers to the 9 blacks you beat and stole that white guy's car.
My has debunked this one too. First, the quote dates to November 16,2016, following an interview of Trump when he told Trump supporters who were beating up minorities to "cut it out." The person who spoke your famous words was Symone Sanders, a black political commentator who was press secretary for Bernie.
I got the transcripts. There was a lot of crosstalk, and I thinks she was reponding to something Carl said that was not transcribed.
CARL HIGBIE, CNN POLITICAL COMMENTATOR: Well, I heard about the last 30 seconds of it. I will say, look, Donald Trump but I would say where was Obama when people were smashing neighborhoods after all the riots? He didn't necessarily take a firm stance on getting people to stop.
I think what happens now is, look, people should not riot and cause violence on either side of the aisle regarding the issue. I think it's stupid for people to come out and say racist things and whatever power for Trump. But they shouldn't do it on either side. I think there should be a real serious ratcheting down of the law, and say stop doing violence upon other people and neighborhoods.
(CROSSTALK)
SANDERS: Hate crimes – I'm sorry, Kate. Hate crimes and protesting are not the same things. We cannot normalize this.
Carl, a hate crime is a crime that is committed against somebody because of their religion, because of what they look like, because of their sexual orientation. That's not the same thing as protesting.
BOLDUAN: You're not -- I don't think Carl is disputing that.
SANDERS: Well, he should make it very clear because what I heard is both, people on both sides should cut it all out. A hate crime is not the same thing as protesting. We have to be very deliberate about that.
BOLDUAN: What do you say to the people who dragged a poor white guy out of a car and beat him --
(CROSSTALK)
SANDERS: Oh, my goodness. Poor white people. Please. Stop. Stop it, Carl. What I say to people that protest is first of all, apparently, there's -- (CROSSTALK)
HIGBIE: That's not protesting. Dragging somebody out of their car and beating them -
(CROSSTALK)
SANDERS: Pardon me. There's never been a successful form of protest.
What I'm saying is I'm calling for people to be peaceful. I think protesting is a right. It is what this country was founded on. We got this country via protest but it's never OK to use violence. We can't keep calling for people to be peaceful --
(CROSSTALK)
HIBEE: You and I agree on that. "
As you can see they both agreed that peaceful protest was OK. I think her poor white people remark was to compare a single incident on whites compared to the multiple hate crimes committed against blacks. I don't agree. However SHE IS JUST A COMMENTATOR. While she is employed by the network, her views are her own and don't represent the management. Are we to hold Fox news responsible for all the comments made on that network.?
Raphjd--you need to let this one go too.You can watch the full clip here:

"It ain't no hate crime" was said about the Chicago kidnapping, after the kidnappers admitted it was a hate crime.
Again, spoken by Symone Sanders on January 5, 2017. She seems particularly obsessed with differentiating politically driven hate crimes from racially motivated hate crimes and only considers the latter legitimately labelled as such. In this case, however, the attackers were equally shouting "Fuck Trump" as "Fuck you white boy. But again, she is a political commentator.. CNN is actually pretty good at having a spectrum of political commentators.
I suspect you think CNN is liberal -leaning (and I agree) but not fake news. But the egregious "offenses" you cite do not support that argument. -

CNN routinely has Symone Sanders on. She's clearly on contract. She doesn't think blacks can do any wrong and if they do, blame the crackers.
Don "sourpuss" Lemon also claimed that the Chicago kidnapping was NOT a hate crime.
CNN is shit. 20 years ago they had global respect, now they are little more than the DNC's "news" outlet.
