Stupid Question: How to correctly pronounce the word: LENGTH

believe me I tried to google it first and watch videos on YouTube
but they talk too fast for me to understand
so how do I pronounce LENGTH correctly?is it lenth or lenkth (with the sound of k)

Lenth, the G is silent as in Strength

The G isn't silent, but it's not strongly pronounced. The pronunciation will vary depending on where it's said though as well, note that wiktionary has the UK English pronunciation as lĕngth whereas American English pronunciation is lĕnth

Using your example of the k - that is how I pronounce it.. but think a soft K - like another poster said.. exactly like strength
She takes ages to pronounce it but says it a few times - helps to pronounce Strength and Length
