Sedition, Patriotism, etc.

Every public school student in the USA knows is compelled to recite the "Pledge of Allegiance" every school day.
In the eyes of the world, the USA is represented by it's president. So, it is reasonable to expect people to show their allegiance to the president - whoever that may be. People can rant and rave all they want BEFORE an election, but after an election, that needs to cease so that the business of governing the nation can take place.
Let me make an analogy. think of government as a game - such as poker. You are dealt some cards, which you might like or dislike, but whatever cards you are dealt, you have to make the most of them. In fact, in poker, most of your hands will be losing hands, so if you folded every time you got a hand you didn't like, you would be guaranteed to lose. There are laws that cover this - which are only enforced in rare circumstances such as in a time of war - especially civil war. They are called laws of sedition. I think it is safe to say that the extreme left are in a state of civil war right now. We have lunatic libtards such as "Auntie" Maxine Waters, John Pedosta, "Slippery" Hillary Cliton, Elizabeth Warren, Nancy Pelosi, John Lewis, Michael Moore, etc. calling for "special prosecutors" and impeachment pretty much constantly over some other overblown crap of the week.
One of the fundamental pillars of justice in the USA is the concept of being "innocent until proven guilty". This concept is not universal in the world, for instance, in France, one is considered "guilty until proven innocent". (In truth, one is guilty until proven innocent in the USA, however, people refuse to realize that because their minds are in fantasy land). Anyway, if observing the law, these seditious clowns should be charged with defamation, slander, libel, and sedition when calling for the impeachment of the president just on a "hunch".
Let me make one simple case for when someone should have been impeached, but was not. I happen to think that as presidents go, BILL Clinton was one of the better ones.. however, he should have been impeached. Putting aside all the other scandals such as Whitewater (which was really Hillary's scheme to generate $$$), there is the issue of that Monica Lewinsky incident.
#1 Adultery is a felony in 5 states and a misdemeanor crime in the others
#2 Lying to Congress is a felony, and certainly grounds for impeachment. Bill did boldly lie to Congress, yet got away with it.
#3 Using one's position of power and authority to have sex with someone is at least sexual harassment, if not rape - both felonies and impeachable. Certainly Bill Clinton sticking his dick in the mouth of Lewinsky in the Oval (Oral?) Office of the White House and also stuffing a cigar up her clam fits the definition of those crimes... meanwhile, while people are so fixated upon the FEDERAL government, they are ignoring what is going on it their own backyards with their corrupt state, county, and city governments. Where I live, it goes even further than that.. some lunatic on my block tells neighbors that she is the president of the Homeowner's Association and she collects thousands of $$$ per year from some neighbors on the block who "voluntarily" give her money. The problem is.. this neighborhood has not had an HOA for 16 years, and even when it did, that bitch was never an officer of it. And yet.. so far, she has gotten away with it… so far! ::)

I thought the constant criticism of presidents, past and present is free speech? I always understood that the reason free speech even exists is so people can criticise the president and no repercussions occur
The internet makes it a bit of a mess, I have to say, but all presidents have faced criticism and that is part of the US system. if we apply what you want to all presidents then even some things here said about Obama & Trump would be illegal!
