Why does everyone seem to HATE straight white men? Is it because the media? Is it because of jealousy? What's wrong with someone born white and is sexy? I'm down with all skin colors, but what is with the recent phenomenon that they should "check themselves and their privilege?" That's racist. Why make them feel sorry for the skin color they were born with? Is it a privilege being born with a certain skin color? No. They go to the military and everyone is equal. They all have equal privilege there, but in the public arena, being white is like OMG you're a fascist, you're Trump's kid. Seriously WTF?

When I lived in Dallas there was a separate pride parade for black gays, like wtf? They intentionally segregated themselves, but I'm sure it wasn't something most of them wanted. Why couldn't they just go to the everyone pride parade? It wasn't a white gay parade, it was everyone, yet some of them needed a separate parade. Not sure if they still do that but it was extraordinarily repulsive to most of us. Trying to divide us and drive a wedge in the heart.

We can't have Miss White America because it's racist, while the other races can have their and the generic Miss America too. Yet whites are privileged.

I worked at a job where this black guy got written up twenty times. If I had got written up once for the thing he did I would have been fired immediately, even though I was known to be gay. I didn't have any privilege, even being gay, but this guy totally abused it. Then I went to court where this white male judge was called out. The next day they replaced him with a black female judge and the corruption just continued like it was nothing. Again, I love black guys, but don't talk to me about white privilege. It doesn't exist. It's the opposite.

"White" is an exclusion term. It's not about what you are but about what you're not. Culture is celebrated, not color. Nobody frowns on the celebration of Oktoberfest or St. Patrick's Day or Hanukka, those are all celebrations of different cultures and they're all white in color, however, for a lot of time the Jewish and the Irish were not considered "white" because they were consdiered ", "undersirable" and "inferior". That's what "white" has stood since many centuries ago. "white pride" means "Thank god I'm not one of those barbaric, undesirable non-white races, I am and always has been considered a person with rights"
Not all straight white males are proven dicks, however, straight white males have always had it the easiest and still do. The richest, most powerful people in America ar in its reat majority straight white males. Rock stars, movie stars, executives, politicians, they're mostly straight white males. Even in the gay "hierarchy" whites are on top, just check the most popular pornstars and you'll see what guys are looking for so it certainly makes things easier in the dating department. And don't get me started with all those people who are looking exclusively for "straight acting" guys and bisexuals. Becuase even gay men are looking for the closest they can get to a straight white male.
Yes, people of color are getting some bias, but the thing is that after centuries of discrimination, climbing the social ladder is extra hard. These ara people who have been excluded from positions of power, from prestigious schools, from convenient connections, they've been at a serious disadvantage for centuries. Even if the playing field is leveled now, they're starting the game with a losing score, and there's no easy way of making things fair, so sometimes it ends up unfair in the other directions. It isn't okay, but it's the product of a flawed attempt at fairness.
It's the same in media, all the big iconic characters are straight white males because they were created in a time where that was the only acceptable lead, Batman, Superman, Luke Skywalker, Indiana Jones, almost all of the Avengers. "it's not about race and gender" you might say "people of all races ans genders can identify with the characters regardless". But then they make female ghostbusters and people completely loses their shit. I met a guy who was huge Power Rangers fan, but didn't watch the movie because his favorite Ranger whas the blue one and they made him black. How's that for hate?
Think of all the actors who wish they could get a part as leads of their favorite things which are all getting rebooted lately, but hey can't because only straight white males get to be leads, only they get to be heroes, if anybody else is made one then it's "SJW bullshit" and it's automatically ruined.You sound like the straight people who think us getting more rights is an attack on them. Who think that if we grow up being thaught that straight is normal and better and more desitable is okay, but if a kid finds out that we exist then it's "shoving our sexuality down their throats"
We don't hate straight white males, we just hate the pedestal they've been on for the last millenium or so, and we're tryng to demolish it, sorry if a pebble get is your eye in the process.

I would say it's more privileged straight men hate.
White straight men, more often than not, (even the ones that aren't privileged have huge opportunity to change that around,) are very much privileged.
The only color that matters, or should matter is green.
The more money you have, the more privileged you are. The more you are able to not fit into the status quo, or loop into not worrying about societies pressures of you.
I would say as far as western society goes;
Asians make the most money, but aren't socially privileged. So whites who make a little under Asians do, are top of the list. But Asians due to the fact many aren't socially privileged and featured in the media, on magazine covers, seen beautiful etc. They aren't at the top.
People of other races that pass as white, that aren't black or from the islands, Native people, Spanish/Latin people, Middle eastern. Are in the middle. So is their privilege in most cases.
Blacks and really anybody dark skin, are at the bottom when it comes to wealth.
You add gay to any of the above groups, and you just move down a tier.
It's just the way it is.

In the west, whites are the majority. Therefore it makes sense that whites make up the majority of the wealthy.
Did you know that most of the wealthy in Japan are Japanese? Yeah, that's fucked up, I know. It should be mostly blacks who are wealthy there.

When the white population of the United States ceases to be a majority then they will relocate at a rapid rate to areas of low crime.Remember that mass automation will kill around 50% of the lower skilled work within the next 5-10 years.You won't need to bother about 'white' so called privilege then as there won't be many left to pay the welfare cheques.

Blacks are privileged in that they get to have the police protect their racism against whites, such as the "whites go around" event that forced white students to walk through a creek to get to class.
