are speedos all that revealing? some make guys look smaller than they actually are, unlike underwear!

for me its the smallness of the fabric and the clingness of it that makes it kinda sexy

but again same issue with girl in bras and panties and a girl wearing a swimsuit. one is acceptable to be worn outside….the other supposedly not

Speedos flatter certain types of bodies and not others.

I totally agree.  It's always been my main complaint about speedos.  I think it's because they tend to be used for more athletic purposes and are worn predominately by straight guys.  The more "designer" brands of men's swimwear are often a lot more well-suited for gay men and pool party attire.  It's basically the same difference between Bike jockstraps and Andrew Christian.  One is practical and designed to obscure the penis, the other functions basically as a sex toy, drawing attention to and advertising a guy's package, with a primary function of initiating sex.

I prefer the dirtier ones. 😄

If you have a large bulge and/or a large pair of assets, then speedos will indeed accentuate those aspects of your body.

i definitely agree with the above. i used to attend swimming class at my gym, where speedos (or any kind of tightfitting swim shorts) were necessity. and I do not have swim-bod. oh no. but no one of my co-swimmers had it. so, you get comfortable, not giving a F..K if you are out of proportion  ;D
