So, as per the site rules, if the torrents are of the same format and with less than 10% size difference I can report them. I reported a torrent earlier, and I am a bit confused if I did it correctly because resolution is not a factor in reporting dupes.

The original (older torrent) is 231 MB and 720p while the newer (dupe?) torrent I reported is 540p and bigger at 233 MB. I reported it as dupe as they are of the same format and the size difference is less than 10%. So I want to know if what I did was correct? Can I report similar instances of dupes even when the resolution differs? Hope someone can answer this, thank you. 🙂

Hi, AlexisB, and good question; I understand your confusion on this issue.

I would recommend NOT to report different resolution videos… as duplicates.

Videos with the same resolutions... then the 10% file size standard would hold true.

I've removed that Dupe Report you generated...

        Take care,
