Seeding my new torrent, but got removed thereafter?
-
Hello,
I'm trying to seed my torrent, but this site shows me that my torrent has no seeder and will marked as "dead".
I have to edit my torrent like 3 times now to keeps my torrent visible on the search page.
Any ideas why is this happen?

If you're using uTorrent, you have to make sure that you delete the one .torrent file created and stored, from wherever the default location is for the client .torrent files; making sure that the only .torrent file for your new upload is located in the "directory" (file) you've created for the upload.
It sounds confusing, and I also had problems with my first couple of uploads; but it really isn't.
I can "walk you through" the steps, if needed, and it truly is not complicated at all.
However, if you're using something other than uTorrent…
Anyway, good luck.

Actually it doesn't matter where the torrent file is stored (I always download to my desktop for ease of deleting after I start).
You don't even need to delete the old torrent. The important thing is to download the newly uploaded torrent and start seeding with that and keep seeding.
With uTorrent there is yet another copy of the new torrent stored in the uTorrent folder which is the working copy.
I don't know with qBittorrent but suspect it will be similar.
