On street walls in London and New York, Superman grabs Batman’s sky blue mask, and they share a passionate kiss between their capes. The London-based contemporary urban pop artist behind the street art, Rich Simmons, tells HuffPost Italy that he has conceived of this composition because he wanted to spark a conversation about equality "by taking the two most alpha male superheroes and placing them in this embrace."
Simmons, who has exhibited artwork in London, Geneva, Tampa, New York and Los Angeles, says that his artworks also intend to challenge the notion of heroism. "It is sometimes more heroic to simply stand up for your beliefs, stand up for equality," he says.
"If you were in need of being saved from something, would it matter if the person who could be your hero was gay or not?"

The day is not far for a gay love story in a comic book movie.

p.s.: we already have Deadpool, in the comic version he's quite pansexual.

Actually, Marvel does have a gay character in the X-MEN comics I think (I don't really read the comics, just heard the news.) The character is Northstar and has a boyfriend named Kyle and they got married in the comic! The cover of the issue was of the wedding!

Wish they had more of Deadpool's pansexuality in the movie but hey, maybe they'll have some Man x Man in the second movie! Fingers crossed!
Plus, Wonder Woman is officially queer so, Yay for equality!

Alas, poor Lois… D:<
Speaking of the Xmen...yes, they have Northstar. But he has been left in limbo after his wedding...which sucks.
Iceman currently came out of the closet (causing and uproar, remember that male straight geeks are just like their jock counterparts), last thing related to his homosexuality was stepping out from the closet to Anole, a young out of the closet mutant (who happenes to be Northstar's pupil) and that's all, shit is thick right now with the M-Pox and whatever...
If we talk DC comics...they had Pied Piper, and in the New 52 universe he dates the Flash's police boss.
BUT! If you want real 100% gay superheroes you should look for Midnighter and his partner Apollo. (Basically the gay versions of Batman and Superman respectively, formerly property of Wildstorm Comics and now part of DC)
Batman is cool, but so overrated...Superman...I don't like him. (And both were assholes to Wonder Woman during certain storyline...pair of holier-than-thou pricks)
