Torrent vanishes
-
Hello, I started downloading a torrent on Sunday night (containing 58 files and in the twink - I think - category) and it got to 75%. When I came back to it on Monday there were no seeders or peers, so stuck at 75%. Does the lack of seeders and peers mean that there is some content in the files that is "illegal" and I should delete the torrent and files?

There was probably only one or two seeders on the torrent.
They may have logged off before your download could complete. Just leave it going, they'll probably come back online. -
But there are no seeders or peers. The torrent appears dead. Also I can no longer find the torrent listed here. So I think it has been deleted from the "tracker"?

Hmm. You may have to request a re-seed.
Find the torrent again from your 'currently leeching' section of your profile.
If it's not there, search for it again but include dead files (shown below)You can then go into the torrent details and find the 'Request re-seed' button (shown below). This sends an automated message to those that have downloaded it previously, and asks for seeders again. Doesn't always work, but it's your only chance if it's dead.

Sadly, if the torrent is no longer listed and you get a message 'No torrent with that ID' it has probably been deleted and we will never know why :sigh:

Yeah, it happens once in awhile, but not frequently. Hoping to make a request for one torrent that 'died', once I have enough posts on the Forums.
