Try Oxy brand pads, they're carried by most stores, cost about five or six bucks and you just wipe your face 2 to 3 times a day with them. They do work after awhile of continued use. If you never use something like salicylic acid, you might notice that your face well end being covered in more acne. That's your face detoxing, it sometimes gets worst before it gets better. So start using it when you don't have to see anyone for a couple days. And don't pay for Proactive, while it works, it's overly priced and high maintenance to use. The pads work fine by them selves.

Staying hydrated is a must - that means lots of clear fluids (water) - not soda or other junk.

Exercise helps - a good clean diet as well. Chips/junk food tends to cause breakouts. Stress related for some.

Try the suggestions above - buy some medicated cleansing pads and use them once or twice daily to keep your facial pores clear of dirt/oil/ick.  :cheesy2:

Unfortunately, for some people - no matter what you do - acne could also be hereditary.

**To maintain acne free skin, you should also follow a good daily skin care routine. You may want to follow these tips. Always wash problem areas twice daily with a non-medicated soap or mild cleanser. Use an oil-free, water-based moisturizer to help alleviate dry, peeling skin.  Don't try to wash your face more than twice a day for you can dry your skin out.

Drink plenty of water. Drink less milk (promote male hormones). Unsweetened green tea may be helpful.

Eat a balanced diet. Cut out the sweet, sugary drinks like sodas, juices, and smoothies out of your diet. People who eat more fruits & veggies, and less milk & sugar, tend to have less acne.  Eat omega-3 fatty acids.

                Take the right vitamins.

Remove as much unhealthy stress from your life as possible.

Make sure you're getting enough sleep.**

Remember me with smiles and laughter
For that's how I will remember you all
For if you can only remember with tears
Then please don't remember me at all.

Mine refused to go away regardless of my diet/vitamin intake/exercise etc. till I turned 20. Just a shower every day and some moisturizing seems to be enough nowadays.
