I remember my mom singing it when I was little, no more than 4 or 5 years old. She had a music box, red and gold colored, shaped like a grand piano–a dragon adorning the lid that, when lifted, “plinked” out the tune. ^-^

My favorite aria from my favorite opera–Giacomo Puccini’s “Madama Butterfly” (and Renata Scotto nails it!)

I usually have my eyes closed, getting goose bumps, crankin’ this through the headphones!
Then I had to go and ruin it, opening my eyes to watch the video…I mean she is hammerin’ this…but that poor kid! It looks like if she’s not going to eat him, she’s at least going to suck the “life force” out of him!’
It also doesn't help in the fact that "Butterfly" is supposed to be 15! ???
(I still love the song though…) :cheesy2:

Hood Gold - Haj, featuring Mr. Sef
My baby’s first music video shot at a local park in Berkeley, California, a few years ago–not much music, but it is something seeing so many hours of shooting and whatnot compiled into a 4-1/2 minute clip.
Regarding the editing, a couple of things that caught me...
1. With the exception of when the two girls are getting out of it--I’m in the car the whole time. I’m the one driving in the opening, and I’m sitting behind the wheel when she’s on the hood singing. (Which gets me to 2.)
2. Everything I saw during the shooting looked like a duet with both girls singing and hanging together. The blond who got edited out was actually on the hood of the car too. It took her a few tries because she kept sliding off...and I think she ended up putting a dent in it.
