Post the last movie you've seen and how you rate it

2Late (2014)–I give it 6.9/10
It's a pretty heavy drama packed into a short film with some troubling issues affecting the lives of many--common in today’s world.

Ouija: Origin of Evil (2016) 5/10
The first 20 minutes of the movie is great and almost creeps me out, but the rest is boring. I don't like the ending too.
-
that's not really a movie but a mini serie and I watched the whole 8 episodes of " Stranger Things" . It's rated at 9/10 on imdb and well yeah it's not bad at all.

I'd rate it 8/10 -
Ikiru (1952)
I give it a decent 8/10.
Been hearing good things about Kurosawa and decided to watch a random film out of curiosity and was damn well pleased.
PS. Saw Oldboy (2003) before Ikiru, felt like it deserved to be mentioned. 8/10, the musical score was terrific. -
Saw "This is The End" (2013?) today. I enjoyed it a ton, and will give it a nice 6/10.

"The Falls" trilogy about gay mormons… Man, do they have problems.
It had it's flaws and lots of them but I still rate it 6/10 out of loyalty. It gets a little tedious towards the end, two movies might have sufficed.

"Sully" (2016)…7/10
I really didn't have a great interest in watching it, but it was there, and I ended up doing so.
It turned out to be a nice surprise as I really liked it!

Just saw Family Commitments (2015) and gave it 7/10
Its been a long time since I watch a good gay romantic comedy and I love this one. The story is brave (bring up
! a gay Islam and also an immigrant) and the two main actor are gorgeous.
Recommended!

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
8/10
Was unsure to begin with, primarily due to Colin Farrell being in the cast. I just felt that he was too big a name for this movie, primarily because there were top notch but lesser famed actors that helped make the Harry Potter movies burst with characters that could really be made their own. Seeing Colin Farrell early on made me worry that more money may have been spent on the actors than on the magic of the movie.
Fortunately my concern didn't materialise, and i really enjoyed the film. I'm really hoping that there will be other films based on this magiverse that is JK Rowlings fantastic imagination. There is certainly material that could be used as the basis for further films.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012) 7.5/10
An honest, earnest movie. Loved the movie as much as the book. -
ghost in the shell, 1995.
fantastic movie about cyborgs & crime in the not to distant future. preceded the matrix and has a lot of graphics/scenes which apparently inspired the matrix. definitely recommended for anyone who watched westworld, humans, or has an interest in AI/cyborgs

Hacksaw Ridge (2016)…7/10
War is fucked.
As was the case with Sully, the last movie I posted, I had no interest in, or intentions of, watching Hacksaw Ridge; and like Sully, this also turned out to be one I really enjoyed.
The movie is based on the true story of a World War II medic in the battle of Okinawa, and is directed by Mel Gibson. Hacksaw Ridge reminded me of another of Gibson's movies–reminiscent of a 20th century version of Braveheart (1995)–“Oscar” winner for “Best Picture” in 1996.
According to some tabloids, Mel Gibson may be kind of a dick, but in my opinion he does put out some great movies!

Although the link refers to the movie A Monster Calls, it currently is in fact the link to the full movie Hacksaw Ridge…

Finding Dory (2016) 6/10
The 'depressing' plot feels forced, but I enjoyed it.

This Marco Berger movie could have been good if not for those unnecessary prolonged scene. "Hawaii" is a much better Marco Berger film.
5.5/10

Saw this movie last night Closet Monster (2015).
I like the this movie, the best so far. Great acting and direction, but what I love the most is the clever and unique story and the writing. How the writer express the pain and the life of a young man with broken family and blurry future. Definitely must see!
7/10

The 9th Life of Louis Drax 2016
Sometimes, beauty is only skin deep. Every man, married or single have fallen into a trap that a very beautiful woman can do no wrong. Halfway of the story, you can guess that the mother (Sarah Gadon) is not what she tells the Doctor (Jamie Dornan)
6/10

front cover (2015): 4/10.
nice with some diversity in cinema in general and lgbt-cinema i particular, but i thought it was a bit of an unpolished diamond lol. -
LOL
Watched this animation last night haha Justice League Dark (2017). I always like DC animated universe, entertaining especially the Rated R movies. I like this one because of its magic fights. Just what I always wanted.
7/10

_Story of Chiron (played by 3 actors) from boyhood, teenage and adult as he tries to live his life through bullying, homosexuality and a junkie mother.
Very subtle, there is only one really violent scene here and it is most relevant. Nominated for Best Picture in 2017 Oscars

Patriot's Day: 7/10
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4572514/?ref_=nv_sr_5It was an intense and engaging movie- much better than I expected it to be. Despite the run time, it felt very fast paced.
