Serious Relationship or Sex without commitment?

Good day, I make this post for a discussion that arose between me and my friends ; we have a friend who is in a serious relationship for almost five years now, the boy is in love so we feel happy because he is also happy, but my other two friends prefer to live having sex without commitment, without falling in love and having fun in the process.
So let me know your opinion.
Oh and by the way, i know that a lot of people are gonna say: i wanna have uncommited sex until i have a serious blah blah blah, i want to know like if some fortune teller told you that if you don't have a serious relationship, you would never gonna have one, just one night stands, etc.Greetings, have a great day

I'd take a serious relationship any day of the week.

It depends on where each person is in their life. There's nothing worse than being in a serious relationship and realizing that you simply are not ready for it. Are you ready to give up some of your independence? (This is a big one, as it is very hard to shift thinking from I/me to we or us) Are you ready to not be the final decision maker? Are you ready to support shared goals, dreams, and desires? Are you truly ready to live with someone else?
I ask these questions because no one asked me those types of questions when I was going from serious relationship to serious relationship in my 20's and failing miserably with them. My main failure was the inability to shift from I/me to we. I always thought you could remain in a serious relationship without either giving up any of their individual lives. My experience has been that you can function like that for a few years, but in the end you will split, as a relationship is much more than two "I's". It has to become a "We" at some point to continue growing and not get bored or lose interest with one another. The good thing is that the two of you get to decide what that we looks like!
So don't knock your friends for not wanting a relationship. They likely know themselves and simply know that they are not ready to commit to a serious relationship. That's commendable in my book, as they are not wasting anyone's time or hurting anyone.

I am in the favor of sex without commitment because I know my nature - I have a high libido….am always horny. I travel for work. So I meet a lot of guys in bars and such. If I were married to another guy, I'd have to go days without sex and that is denying yourself of a natural instinct. And that can't be good. Never go against nature.

Actually you're all right
but domtop, i don't know the meaning of "knock" my friends, but if it means that i scold them or tell them they are wrong isn't true, they have the right to live their life like they want
