Xbox One vs PS4

Witch should I buy and why?

I would primarily consider what system your friends play on. That way you can play with them in the future.
-
Look at first party and see what exclusives you like. And like what was said above see what your friends have to play with them.

Yeah, there's definitely a couple things to consider before buying either one. Are you a big online player? Would you want to play with your friends? What do they have? What type of games do you like? There will be plenty of games released on both, but there will be exclusives for each as well (some only for a limited time, though).
I am a big JRPGer so the PS4 would naturally be my first choice. The Xbox has some, but not as many, originally Japanese released games. If you like more of the team-based shooting or Western developers, the Xbox might be a better option (The PS4 has these as well but I feel like the XBox libraries have more of them quite and a few exclusives).
I'm looking forward to Kingdom Hearts 3, Final Fantasy XV, and the remake of Final Fantasy VII, and they will definitely be out on PS4 first.

Yes, what everyone else said above. The main ones being what your friends have, what type of games you like and the exclusives on each.
But also, if you are new to these consoles, don't have gaming friends and don't know what type of games you like yet…
The other factor to consider are the strengths of each console. I think the graphics and hardware profile are better on PS4; there is a blu-ray player as well. XB1 has a larger online gaming community and most ppl say the controller is more intuitive.
I love my PS4 and wouldn't trade it for the world. Hours of entertainment. Hope that helps.

X-box graphics and interface much richier..

depends on what kind of games u wanna play?
some games can only be played using certain device -
Like all the other comments above. It depends on who has the system and can play online with you, the types of games you like; meaning have you played any xbox 360 exclusives or ps3 exclusives, if so, which do you like more? There are many factors to include when buying. For example, if you look at xbox 360 exclusive games, the majority of them are available for PC as well. Also, I don't know if this exists for xbox one yet, but for xbox 360 there was a program that allowed playing on a controller instead if you like that. Overall, out of those reasons above, I went with a ps4 just because most xbox one exclusives will become available on pc.
