When you plan to wax body parts, do you shorten your hair with scissors or do you apply wax right away?

Never been waxing.

I just feel cleaner and more groomed when I wax. It just feels good to run your hand on smooth skin. But it's something I like for myself. I don't mind if my partner is moderately hairy.
