Hey
I have been uploading quite a few torrents recently and seem to have been unlucky enough to post at bad times and they dont get the kind of attention that id like (of course some might not be popular as well….. im not trying to say all my posts are the best )....... the problem is that torrents that end up on the front page in the top 30 list seem to get more notice because theyre easily accessible and I was wondering if there was a way that could be implemented to help people promote their torrents...... maybe a small section on the front page showing the most recent torrents or a cycling list showing all torrents posted within the past few hours....... I know people only have to make a few clicks to get to a torrent but once its put onto the second page of torrents its much easier to miss and less interest is generated (in my opinion)..... Im just suggesting cos I think it might be a good way to promote peoples torrents and generate more interest and help people feel appreciated for posting....... when you spend a lot of time putting together a torrent for uploading it can be disheartening to have only a few people interested because they may not have seen it (again, i dont think the sun shines out of my own back end - im not trying to say all my torrents are great and everyone should leech them...... its just a little disheartening )
what do people think?

What you are doing now is a great way to get users interested in your torrents. What I have started doing is putting my username and maybe some keywords at the end of my torrent description. So if you search for cumeaternc you will see my upload torrents(well about half of them right now). If it is a bareback film add the work bareback to the description or monster cock, latin, uncut…whatever the film is about. Alot of users like myself pay very little attention to the first page but search for specific types of torrents. Finally another good way to ensure you have some leechers is to fill a request from our requests section. Good Luck.

Brandon
GT.ru StaffHi family
Yes GT : "Warning: this topic has not been posted in for at least 120 days.
Unless you're sure you want to reply, please consider starting a new topic."No, I want to reply to Brandon's post, even if it's dated July 11, 2009 (old posts are great too !) because i like his idea very much.
I would like to do exactly what he did (adding "blackdid" at the end of description in my 14 uploaded torrents so they're all reachable thru a torrent Search, if anyone types blackdid) especially since uwsguy102 notified my profile was "hidden" due to GT's known bug in often hiding profiles during creation, when they shouldn't be hidden, so noone knows [except GT staff] what you already uploaded because noone can access your profile.
The problem is : each time I want to edit one of my already uploaded torrents, I got the same error message : "You are not allowed to edit this torrent"
The only torrent I'm allowed to edit is the last one (the 14th) I posted early this morning, here :
http://tracker.gaytorrent.ru/details.php?id=84880So the question is : why can't I edit my own torrents, even if they are old ?
Admin/Mods; would it be possible to allow me to edit them a few minutes so I can add the following line in my 13 first torrents, as I just did in my 14th ?
blackdid - enjoy -
Million thanks to the staff member who immediately did the job for me, adding "blackdid - enjoy" in my 14 torrents.
If I'm not mistaken, this staff member should be Uwe or Junior (as they were online a few min ago) or our great Admin Mgr (you never know when he's online !)But I'm sure any staff member would have been as kind as them, only on GT you'll find such great people, believe me.
Thx family :hug2:
