Peer Block?

Does anyone have any experience with Peer Block? I've installed it on my computer, and it says it is blocking potential threats, but it is registering thousands of threats a day.. Can this be correct, or have I been duped into downloading a program with no real purpose?

It might be better than using nothing, but it isn't efficient. You need to use up-to-date block lists and the lists will always miss numerous critical IPs.
It is like condom with holes.

If you are from the USA, you might want something better like a VPN.
I'm from Australia. The only time I received a notice was the one time I forgot to having Peer Block running for a few hours. I also try to use file lockers whenever I can as those does not get tracks.
