Would you date a smoker?

An excellent question.
I have a major issue with smoking. Careful now, i am not talking about smokers, i am talking about smoking.
I have an issue with smoking because it is proven that it is a disastrous addiction and yet, it is not forbidden.

As for the question… Yes i would date a smoker but i would do everything in my power so i can make him cut that repulsive addiction, especially if my feelings for him were strong.

whenever ure at a bar, drinking and stuff, its easier not to notice.. but when ur boyf comes home and u go to kiss him... well, i had to start sending him to brush his teeth before saying hi =P

Summed up, if a guy doesn't add up to your expectations, just drop him.

I am a smoker for 20 years and I'm lucky, for whatever reason, that my non-smoking partners never smelled the usual smoke stench when kissing me (same goes for female perfume which I can wear without any negative reactions, same when eating garlic, again just lucky).
On the other hand, my grandmother died of lung cancer with 70 and never smoked a day in her life, and forcing someone to drop a habit they love has nothing to do with love but with posession, that's my 2 cents.

Normally I can feel the smell of someone's lit cigarette from like 30 feet away and of course I always thought I could never kiss anyone who had just smoked. But one day I met a guy. He was so hot that I was kissing him while he was smoking. So I guess if I really liked someone, him being smoker or a non smoker would not make a difference.

My father is a smoker and I made a vow to him never to smoke so I believe I won't because these addictions can be caught from any person if not vigilant enough. This has nothing to do with the person who smokes, I just will not be able to make myself comfortable around him..

If there are geniune and strong feelings, then you will be comfortable and try to make him cut it.
