Invite e-mail never received at gmail
-
I sent an invite (my last!) to a friend a couple days ago to a gmail address, and he still has not received it, and has checked his spam folder as recently as a few minutes ago. Is this a known problem or is he really doing something wrong?
I have sent 3 invites previously that were successful; this is the first one that is not being received.
Can I rescind this invitation somehow so I have it to send out again, either to another address for this friend, or to someone else?
Thank you!

I've also had this problem with gmail.
Any suggestions what to do? -
Sorry, but this is mostly not your fault, nor can you do something to solve such issues. These issues are mostly caused by wrong or missing DNS entries made on the used nameservers for a domain ( gaytorrent.ru / mail.gaytorrent.ru ), or the eMail - server itself has a strange or wrong configuration.
Try to contact the HelpDesk and ask for a new invite or cancel the actual pending one if possible over your profil. Try not to use a common free eMail - Hoster like Google, Yahoo, GMX, Hotmail and stick to eMail - adresses hosted over the internet provider your friend is using. To explain WHY this suggestion works much better for eMails from GTru, I would have to explain very technical things, which might not be very interesting for you… but if you still would like to know that, just contact me over a private message.

There was indeed an issue with GayTorrent.ru's mail server. This is fixed now and most mails should have been sent in the mean time.
In case not, please contact the Helpdesk with details.

I know that this is kind of an old post now, but there is some issue with Google as of late….
See... Google first implemented the use of SPF record checking to verify that the email's origin is legitimate. Since then however, they have started to forcibly cram DKIM bullshit down the throats of mail server administrators. The sad thing is that even with a proper SPF record and a properly DKIM signed email message to verify its origin, Google seems to bounce emails at random with the error code 550-5.7.1, claiming that it's been bounced because it's "Most Likely SPAM". Of course, as a mail administrator myself, this is a bit of a piss off because there does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to when or why they bounce messages, and of course, absolutely no way in which to contact them.
This could be a part of the problem.

Spam should be checked on Gmail's webmail (under "More…") in the left menu bar there and not at the local computer e-mail client.
The reason is, that Internet Security Suites (aka Anti Virus) have a built-in anti spam filter and filter such mails from appearing in the local e-mail client, while they are still on Gmail's mail server.

And how would anyone do that ??? You might find this thread interesting https://forum.gaytorrent.ru/index.php?topic=27602.0
