I think innate attraction is pretty flexible and ofc we have the choice to choose who we end up pursuing relationships with; choosing to be interested in the same/opposite gender in some aspects we cannot control, but taking actions to connect with those people we do– tho idk

When I was younger, I chose to be straight… due to societal pressures and fear of discrimination... but I guess it goes down to biology and I couldn't follow through with my choice... so I later chose to accept who I really was...
I think it helps to think that there is nothing wrong with yourself... the 'something wrong' lies in the rest of society who chose to discriminate...
