Cross-generational relationships.
-
Hi guys!
I am 18 years old and since I can remember older men(10 years+) are really attractive to me. I recently met a man, quite a bit, older than me and we really like each other.
What are your opinions on these types of relationships?
-
My opinion is that they are great  My first time was with someone who was 50+.
-
It is something that i really want to experience!
The so callled forbidden always taste better. ;D -
I'm with you too. I am generally attracted to guys who are matured[read 35+] and I fine them well experienced and not prone to pre-ejaculation.
-
i find it great too :ok1:
in the end its not the age is the person you like that matters -
I'm 24 and my boyfriend 37. Is not big deal when you love someoneÂ
-
Good to hear that there are so many others like me ;D
-
Here the same, since 12-13 Â ;).
I always have all kind of relationships with older people. (All kind= not only sexual, also intelectual, friends, etc). I found people of my age, dumb & ugly (with very few exceptions and the 90% of these exceptions are women).
I like a lot of classic movies, music, antiquities, etc, for me it's very easy to start a non-penis conversation with older people than younger. Actually I'm with a man 20 years older than me, but I always say that I'm the older of this relation (for my character). For me it's OK if he's not treat you like a child, or think's he's some "superior" only for his experience. -

This describes me as well. I simply do not usually connect with people my own age, and it has been that way since my teenage years. When someone my age begins to describe their taste in music, politics, film, philosophy or whatever – it usually turns me off more than their actual boyish looks.

Exactly how I feel as well.

How do you guys deal with being with your much older boyfriend in public? I hate the stares and judgement the whole world has.
-
i like older guys too, i find it normal, i think the virtues of the youth complement those of the expierence

I don't care about it, in public, I'm shy and I nver liked to show my feelings in public , this means: no kisses or hughs , even with parents and family, and the other people like neighbours, or strangers, think that we are brothers because we are bearded and I look much older with beard ;D . For a minority we are father and son :blind: and I think there's probably another minority that they will think we are a couple.

If i get that lucky, i will completely ignore it.
But there's another issue.
I am 35 years old and steadily i am heading into my early forties.
It's i that will be the daddy! -
I find I have stricter criteria for meeting older men. In addition to being attractive, they'd have to be smart(you're old, you should be experienced and well-learned so that we have something in common besides sex) and financially well-off(I'm young enough to be your son, you better be treating me like it).

On the first part I agree; intelligence is an attractive quality. However I don't want a "sugar daddy", I don't like to be treated like an invalid or something.

No man should expect or be expected to support another man.

Personally, I don't see the problem with this if it is explicitly stated in the relationship. It's obviously different if the person with money is being taken advantage of by the other under the guise of love.

A couple of years ago I was into older men as well. My first time was with a 45+ guy. But now I am looking for a bit younger guys like 30+. I guess I am getting old, lolÂ

I've always liked older guys; I had a hard time relating to guys my age back then. However, as I've gotten older, my tastes have expanded, for the better. At 48 I still find older men hot, but I can also see the attractions of younger guys too. I think as you mature and get life experience, you start to see that there are many qualities that can be attractive, beyond the normal physical ones. It's cliche to say, but true: nothing is permanent, everything changes, and this includes who you are attracted to.
So don't worry about being attracted to a narrow type when you're young (you're only 19 after all); it's perfectly normal. But also don't be surprised when your tastes start to change, evolve and expand. It's part of growing up, so be open and enjoy it. Actually, if your taste in men never changes, I would worry that you are NOT maturing as a person.
