Seedboxes and shared IPs
-
Hey guys,
So I have a seedbox with whatbox, and the IPs they use are shared between multiple seedboxes. So if I'm reading this right:
@Rules:
Only one account is allowed per Internet Protocol address and user. Attempts to create multiple accounts will trigger our monitoring system that immediately terminates both accounts (). Be aware that two or more account-holders using the same router/local network or allowing someone else to access their account on your internet connection will trigger this system. The same will occur if you attempt to access your account using another account holders internet access.
That means that if any other GTRU members get assigned to the same blade as mine we would both be banned?
I suppose this also means I can't seed from both my home connection and the seedbox?
Edit: https://forum.gaytorrent.ru/index.php?topic=19682.0 seems to suggest that seeding from multiple IPs is ok, but there is no official response on seedboxes with shared IPs. -
We make exceptions for VPN/Proxy/Seedbox shared IPs. You may also multiple hookup from several IPs with same account.
Our system may put a warning on your account if detected, but this is not a ban on the account.

Good to know that, thanks guys.

That mentioned "warning" is rather an alert sign, only. It is visible to staff only.
It isn't the red triangle warning, which if you see it, would mean your account is blocked from browsing torrents and connecting to the tracker.
